Dr. Broughton is an accomplished content strategist with a robust background shaped by training and experience at Claflin, a top 10 nationally ranked HBCU, and Purdue University's esteemed Online Writing Lab (OWL).
At Claflin, she served as a Writing Consultant to diverse students across disciplines. At Purdue, she served in pivotal roles, including Conversation Group Leader for ESL students, Assistant Director of Content Development, and Writing Consultant for faculty, students, and the Minority Engineering Program. Her dedication and expertise were further recognized through being selected as the Summer Assistant Director and the recipient of the New Tutor of the Semester Award.
Beyond academia, her impactful contributions extended to an investment firm, where she excelled as a versatile UX Writer, engaging in process engineering, copyediting, and creating informative video tutorials.
